The Beatles

With numerous top of the chart songs, The Beatles have amassed billions of streams. “I really like the stories that each song tells, as well as the fun variety of instruments! Not to mention, all of The Beatles’ songs are super catchy,” Ellie Whitfield (10) said. The Beatles experienced a quick rise to fame due to their profound impact on the culture of the 1960s. Their catchy melodies, vocals, and beats became an anthem for a new generation. The Beatles were truly pioneers in the evolution of music.
Led Zeppelin
The British rock band, Led Zeppelin, was formed in 1968, and has since collected praise for their various albums and songs. The iconic track, Stairway to heaven, was written by Led Zeppelin. With their catchy melodies and innovative rock style, Led Zeppelin has accumulated millions of fans. Having a substantial impact on the rock genre at the time, Led Zeppelin’s music appeals to all generations. “I love Led Zeppelin’s music. Their melodies are timeless, and I really appreciate their craft,” Ella Wallinger (10) said.
The Rolling Stones
The Rolling Stones are a classic rock band from England. Formed in 1962, The Rolling Stones have a wide variety of popular songs, including Paint It, Black, Start Me Up, and (I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction. Best known for their fusion of rock, rhythm and blues, and blues, The Rolling Stones have electrifying stage presence and immense cultural and musical influence.
AC/DC
The Australian rock band, AC/DC, is one of the most influential bands to exist. With timeless melodies and expressive instrumentals, AC/DC has released 18 studio albums. Their song, Back In Black, released in 1980, has received close to 1.4 billion streams to date. With hits like Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck, You Shook Me All Night Long, TNT, and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap, you are sure to recognize an AC/DC tune when flipping through the radio.
Rush

Pink Floyd, a rock band that gained popularity by the 1970s, has released 15 studio albums. Pink Floyd’s biggest hits include Another Brick in the Wall, Time, Money, and Wish You Were Here.
Queen
Queen is a British rock band that consists of Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon, and the deceased Freddie Mercury. With expressive vocals and hip melodies, Queen broke through the stereotypes of “rock music,” entertaining generations. With hits like We Will Rock You, Bohemian Rhapsody, Don’t Stop Me Now, and Another One Bites the Dust, it is almost guaranteed that you will find a Queen song you recognize.
Aerosmith
Aerosmith, formed in the 1970s, is an iconic American rock band known for their bluesy, hard rock sound.
