Two New Teachers Stride into Phys Ed

As we start a new school year we welcome back long-time teachers at Falls Church High School, but we also welcome new teacher to the Falls Church family. This year we have many new teachers joining us, and the Jagwire got a chance to catch up with two of them.

Mr. Booth

What classes do you teach at Falls Church?

I will be teaching gym and drivers ed this year.

What did you do before coming to Falls Church High School?

I coached track at Battlefield High School.

Where did you go to school?

I went to George Mason University

Are you coaching any sports this year?

I coach freshman football and I will be coaching track.

What are you most excited for this year?

I’m probably most excited for the student body; kids here are more down to earth than at my last school.

What classes do you teach at Falls Church?

I teach P.E.

What did you do before coming to Falls Church High School?

I was teaching at a school in Richmond before coming here.

How did you like teaching in Richmond?

It was alright, I taught there for six years.

Where did you go to school?

I went to Liberty University in Virginia.

Are you coaching any sports this year?

I am coaching volleyball for Falls Church this year.

What are you most excited for this year?

I’m excited to be teaching in Fairfax County.
