The Wizards are Ready to Start The Season

The Washington Wizards are ready to Tip-off the 2015-2016 season on a good note after losing to the hawks in the eastern conference semi-finals last year.  The Wizards lost Small Forward Paul pierce in Free Agency to the Los Angeles Clippers likely due to the fact that they are very talented and are a championship- potential team.  The loss of Paul pierce might turn out to be a good problem for the Wizards because of the emergence of small forward Otto Porter Jr. who had a good year last year and looks ready to step up and start.  Otto played at Georgetown University before he was drafted 3rd overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2013 NBA draft.  The young and talented small forward is a versatile defender and a professional on and off the court.

The Wizards may arguably have the best backcourt in the league with point guard John Wall and shooting guard Bradley Beal leading the offensive game plan.  John and Bradley have been the stars of the team ever since the wizards started making the playoffs in 2013.  John Wall was the only wizard to make the all-star team last year but hopefully that will change with Bradley Beal and possibly Otto Porter Jr. in the 2015-2016 season.

The Wizards are adding a new Small Forward to the roster with Kelly Oubre Jr. out of the University of Kansas.  The young talent displays a unique style of play that the wizards need to complete their roster.  Analysts and reporters believe the reason the wizards drafted Kelly was because of an apparent friendship that he has with all-star Kevin Durant.  Kevin is from the D.C. area which brings many fans to believe that he will want to play for the Washington Wizards when his contract with the Oklahoma City Thunder expires Next June.  The 2016 offseason has been a highly anticipated offseason for years to come and this season will be the last season before Wizards fans find out if the D.C. idol will play for the his hometown team or play elsewhere.

Despite losing Paul Pierce and starting to push for the Kevin Durant sweepstakes, the Wizards traded for Small Forward Jared Dudley to provide veteran leadership to help young players like Otto Porter jr. and Kelly Oubre Jr. become stars in the league.  The Wizards are in a tough conference with stacked Cleveland Cavaliers and the red hot Atlanta Hawks but with talent surrounding the Wizards clubhouse most fans anticipate that they will finish in the top 3 at the end of the regular season.
