Starting this weekend, the annual Fairfax Fair will be opening at 12000 Government Center Parkway, Fairfax, VA 22035 from June 9^th to June 11^th. If you are unfamiliar with that address, it’s located at the Fairfax County Government Center.  The three day celebration is filled with many appealing attractions with more than 300 exhibitors, food vendors, and activities, not to mention fireworks during the night!  There will be free parking at Fair Lakes Circle and Fair Oaks Mall, and shuttles to transport you to and from the festival entrance.

On the first day, Friday June 9^th, 2017, the fair will be open from 6:00pm to 12:00am. Tickets for Adults 13 and up are $15.00, but on Sunday it will be $10.00.  You can also get tickets online starting from June 4^th to June 11^th. Tickets for Adults 13 and up online are $12.00, and on Sunday the price reduces to $8.00.

On the second day, Saturday June 10^th, 2017, all ticket prices will be the same. The carnival is also open until midnight. There will also be a donut eating contest. It will be starting at 4:00pm at the Fairfax Corner Community Stage. The individuals will compete in a single round competition to see who can win one of the three prizes. The 1^st place winner will receive a $100 cash prize, the 2^nd place winner will receive a $50 cash prize and the 3^rd place winner will receive one free box of donuts!

On the last day, Sunday June 11^th, 2017, all carnival rides will be open from 11:00am to 7:00pm. There will also be a special Celebrate Fairfax 5K starting at 8:00am.

Overall, if you have no plans this weekend, the annual fair is highly recommended!
