Cintia Samaha is a junior here at FCHS, she is also proudly the owner of a 2006 Volkswagen Beetle “Bug”.  Cintia has had her car since her Sweet 16 last year in April, when it was given to her as a surprise birthday gift from her parents. Cintia says, “It’s actually a cute story.  When I was younger my dad used to always bring me miniature toy car bugs.  He would always tell me that one day he was going to get me a real one.”  On the day of Cintia’s Sweet 16 her parents surprised her with her amazing gift.  Cintia said, “On my Sweet 16, the garage door swung open and there it was—sitting in the garage with a big bow on it!”  She was so happy to receive the gift that she started crying.

The nickname that Cintia gave her car was “Tibby;” she got it from the term “Tiffany blue bug”.  Cintia said she’s made a lot of amazing memories with her car.  She told me about this one time she went on a road trip with her friends in the car.  She said, “It was just a lot of fun to have the top down and the music blasting!”  Cintia says she feels really happy and thankful that her parents got her the car.  She said “it makes life a lot easier now that I can drive myself places like work and school.”
