Humans of Falls Church: Jaguars’ Life Experiences

“There are many things I’m looking forward to this year like the upcoming baseball season in February as well as incoming warm weather! I have a couple of New Year’s resolutions, but I think the biggest ones for me are to end the school year with better grades in my tough classes like AP U.S. History and Precalc than what I had by the end of second quarter. Another resolution for me is to try and work out at least four times a week in order to get ready for when spring sports roll around. Those are my big resolutions “

“I’m super excited for the upcoming lacrosse season and for spending more time with friends once this school year closes out. My New Year’s resolutions are to stay original and be more motivated in school and sports. I also want to be able to balance out my time between my school work and social life. One of my main goals this year is to become more independent and not rely as much on other people whether it be for small things or big things. I also want to be healthier and exercise more than I used to.”

“What I am looking forward to most this year is spending time with my friends as much as I can before we all have to leave for college. As much as I want to graduate, I know I will miss them like crazy. I am also really looking forward to performing at my last Heritage Night, and Spring Coffee House. Performing is my passion, and I’ve been incredibly lucky to have had so many opportunities throughout my high school career. So a New Year’s Resolution I have is to find performance opportunities outside of the school that I can play in multiple times a month.”

“I’m looking forward to getting a fresh start on the year. I’ve gotten behind on some things in 2017 and I want to start 2018 ahead of my schoolwork so I’m not super stressed out when we get back to school. I also can’t wait to watch the college football playoffs and bowl games on New Year’s Day. Later in the year I am looking forward to warm weather in the summer. My New Year’s resolution is to stop playing anagrams on my phone when I should be doing homework because I do that a lot.”
