Bachelor of the Month: Rahat Haque

Noel Mikkelsen, Layout Artist

If you’re looking for a kind and amazing guy, then look no further than this month’s bachelor: Rahat Haque (12). Rahat is an awesome guy. He’s fun, hilarious, very charismatic, and won “friendliest guy” for this year’s Senior Superlatives. He is involved in two sports and was the Drumline Captain in the FCHS Marching Band for 2016 and 2017. Rahat was kind enough to take the time out of his day to answer a few of our questions.
What do you look for in a girl?
A friend I can relate to and be able to have fun with.
What do you think your greatest trait is?
I’m very understanding and know how to empathize.
What type of music are you into?
I’m not into anything in particular. I like listening to whatever is on the radio.
How would your friends describe you?
I think my friends would say that I’m a really nice and caring friend.
Do you play any sports?
Yeah. I’m on the wrestling team during the winter and I throw shot put and discus for track in the spring.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be and why?
I love a real juicy burger.
Are there any hobbies you enjoy doing?
I like listening to music and playing video games. Sleeping is also pretty high up on my list of fun activities.
What are you most grateful for in your life?
I’m grateful for the support I get from friends and family.
What is your favorite TV show/movie?
I think my favorite TV show would have to be Parks and Rec and my favorite movie is Deadpool.
What song best describes your life, and why?
“Young, Dumb, and Broke” by Khalid because it’s a vibe and honest.
What would you do on a perfect date?
I definitely would like to eat at a fancy restaurant, then it would either be a walk in a park or see a movie. I can’t decide which is better.
So if you’re looking for a nice time with a nice guy, hit Rahat up. Get him while supplies last!
